Simple Systems for Simple Cleaning Since its introduction, the Reach & Wash® system has undergone several revisions. The V4 system represents the latest, fourth generation of the Reach & Wash® vehicle mount.

Having pure water on board means window cleaning begins within minutes of arriving on site with minimal setup time. The V4 uses Ionic's latest filter housings with replaceable filter cartridges mounted vertically on our crash-tested stainless steel frame. The V4 benefits from the use of John Guest fittings, ensuring a sleek, leak-free design. The standard V4 is available in a range of tank sizes from 300 to 1,000 liters to fit all types of commercial vans and requires only tap water pressure (min. 45 psi) to filter tap water to a purity of zero parts per million.

If a water supply is available on-site, the V4 system can treat pure water in the tank while the 12-volt pumps provide pure water for cleaning. The standard V4 includes a 12-volt pure water delivery pump powered by a variable pump speed controller, automatic tank-full shutoff, and a water level indicator.

PFS™ – Periodic Flush System. Upon startup, this feature automatically flushes the reverse osmosis membrane for 2 minutes. The RO system is then flushed for 2 minutes every hour during the refill process.

The V4™ truck bed has undergone a complete overhaul, resulting in an impressive 10% weight reduction for improved payload capacity and a 100 mm lower center of gravity for improved vehicle maneuverability.

In addition, the V4™ features technological options to improve filter performance, RO membrane life, and water quality.

Thanks to new technologies such as periodic automatic flushing, ROMS™, and PDI™, the V4™'s water quality improves to below zero ppm.

ROMS™ – Reverse Osmosis Maintenance System.
At the end of each tank refill, pure water is diverted to the RO membrane housing. Letting the RO membrane soak in pure water between fills ensures that dissolved solids (found in tap water) do not foul the membrane. Additionally, dissolved solids not removed from the membrane surface during periodic automatic flush cycles are absorbed by the pure water during the "rest period" and removed during the first flush at startup.

PDI™ – Perpetual Deionization. This feature significantly extends the contact time of the DI resin. Ultra-purification is achieved by repeatedly exposing the purified water to the final DI polishing step.
